 Rise- Film Opening

The film opener is good in its camera placements and there audio. when he puts on his head phones it gets louder and when he takes them off, it gets lower. I liked the synchrony between the music and the actions in the opener.

Dear Lover

The sad music fit the vibe pretty well. The shots in the beginning showed a pretty basic opener for dramatic movies.

The transition into the scenes were cool with the music made a really happy feeling.

Always Watching

It started with a very dramatic opener. The way thru repeat words or gradually rise is very smart and adds to the scary aspect.

White Coat

The dark gloomy feeling is smart in creating suspense as I was always waiting for something. The music really added to it to with the ominous sound.


After these openers what I've taken into account is what music we need to use and we need to focus on camera placement.

 The sound or lack of sound is important in a film because sound is a primary way to tell what's going on in a film, so the sound can change the mood of the scene which is very important in a film. It was not difficult to come up with sound ideas for our story without visuals because our story was pretty basic and the sounds were not to original. I think that our group made a story that an audience would be able to understand because we added all the primary cowboy sounds that most people know, so it wont be hard to identify what's going on.

 There are no effects were using so far, and were going to be doing a flicker transition also a cuts and a fades. The biggest problem for us has been finding the right transitions because I have never edited that much before. Ive been watching guides on how to do certain things on capcut to hopefully make it easier.
