About Me

    My name is Xavier, I'm 14 years old starting my freshman year. My birthday is July 20, 2009. I started my life in Ohio but only for a short time then moved to California. I went to elementary school in California, but in 3rd grade i moved to Florida where I have been living for around 7 years. Now I'm at Flannagan 

If I'm being honest I didn't initially pick or wanna be in this class, but after hearing the activities and projects we will do in the class it sounds like fun so I'm gonna stay. I'm gonna take this class because I feel it would be fun to learn how the film business works and how to make a film my self; a self made film sounds like a really fun activity that I would like to learn.

Sound Project

 The sound or lack of sound is important in a film because sound is a primary way to tell what's going on in a film, so the sound can change the mood of the scene which is very important in a film. It was not difficult to come up with sound ideas for our story without visuals because our story was pretty basic and the sounds were not to original. I think that our group made a story that an audience would be able to understand because we added all the primary cowboy sounds that most people know, so it wont be hard to identify what's going on.

 There are no effects were using so far, and were going to be doing a flicker transition also a cuts and a fades. The biggest problem for us has been finding the right transitions because I have never edited that much before. Ive been watching guides on how to do certain things on capcut to hopefully make it easier.
